As CEO of RL James Exteriors, Chad Severson leads a growing team of more than 450 people across RL James, Clearview, Commercial Plastering, Blanchard, and Paramount Painting. His focus is on building strong teams, creating alignment across the organization, and supporting the structure needed for continued growth. Chad brings years of executive leadership experience, including previous roles with Ergotron and Emerson Electric, where he helped teams improve operations, strengthen culture, and move through major periods of growth and change. He is also committed to community involvement and brings a people-first approach to the way he leads.

Mark Marasco serves as Chief Financial Officer for RL James Exteriors, bringing more than 25 years of experience in finance, operations, treasury, and strategic growth across private equity-backed and middle-market organizations. He has a strong background in M&A, financial planning and analysis, capital management, operational improvement, and organizational scaling. In his role, Mark partners with executive leadership and the Board to strengthen financial performance, support growth plans, and build long-term value for the company.

As RL James Exteriors continues to grow, Sheyla Ladd helps make sure the people side of the business grows with it. As Human Resources Director, she supports employees across RL James, Clearview Building Services, Commercial Plastering USA, Blanchard Caulking & Coating, and Paramount Painting through practical HR systems, consistent processes, and day-to-day people support. She brings 18 years of experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits, performance management, compliance, and HR systems. Sheyla’s work helps teams feel supported, connected, and prepared as the company continues expanding across Florida and beyond.

Stephen Groth helps RL James Exteriors better understand the numbers behind the business. As Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, he supports forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analytics that give leadership and operations teams a clearer view of performance across the company. With more than 24 years of experience, Stephen brings a steady, data-driven approach to financial planning and decision support. His work helps the team spot trends, improve reporting, and make more informed decisions across the company.

Angela Trotta helps keep the financial side of RL James Exteriors organized, accurate, and ready to support the company’s growth. As Divisional Controller, she works closely with office managers, project managers, corporate accounting, and leadership to support reporting, close processes, job costing, WIP schedules, and consistent accounting practices across multiple locations. She brings more than 18 years of accounting and financial operations experience across construction, real estate, and service-based organizations. Angela is known for creating structure, improving visibility, and helping teams work more efficiently with reliable financial information.

Building strong partnerships is at the center of Brandon Echols’ work at RL James Exteriors. As Business Development and Growth Leader, he helps identify new opportunities across the company’s building envelope restoration businesses, including concrete restoration, waterproofing, coatings, exterior rehabilitation, windows, and related services. With more than 25 years of experience, Brandon brings a broad business background and a focus on understanding client needs, connecting them with the right solutions, and helping clients find a clear path forward. 

Shannon Price brings more than 20 years of experience in construction, procurement, purchasing, operations, and supplier management to her role as Procurement Manager. She helps RL James Exteriors and its family of companies strengthen supplier partnerships, improve purchasing visibility, reduce necessary costs and risk, and make sure teams have the materials and support they need to do their work well. Shannon’s approach combines strategic sourcing with practical support for the field, helping procurement serve both day-to-day operations and the broader organization. She is focused on using data and technology to turn purchasing information into clearer insight and better decision-making.

Lorena Otaiza helps RL James Exteriors find the people who will support its teams, projects, and long-term growth. As Talent Acquisition Specialist, she partners with leadership and hiring managers across the company’s family of businesses to guide recruiting, candidate selection, and the overall hiring experience. With 12 years of talent acquisition experience across diverse industries and international markets, along with fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Lorena brings a global perspective to recruiting and focuses on connecting the right people with the right opportunities.

Gary Wasser first got to know RL James from the customer side, hiring the company for condominium restoration projects while working as a licensed Community Association Manager on Longboat Key. That firsthand experience shaped the way he understands property managers, associations, and the expectations that come with restoration work. Since joining RL James in 2003, Gary has helped grow the company’s presence across Florida and now serves as Vice President of Estimating & Sales. In his role, he leads the estimating team through training, estimate reviews, bids, proposals, and performance tracking, helping support the work that moves from opportunity to project.

Seamus Devlin is General Manager and Licensed General Contractor Qualifier for RL James Exteriors. He brings more than 37 years of hands-on experience in construction, restoration, waterproofing, concrete repair, building envelope repairs, estimating, project management, operations, and safety leadership. A mason by trade, Seamus has worked his way through multiple leadership roles at RL James since joining the company in 2013. Today, he oversees operations, production performance, project execution, team development, client relationships, and strategic growth, helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

As General Manager of Blanchard Caulking & Coating, an RL James Exteriors company, Jeremy Blanchard leads with a focus on quality, safety, strong performance, and steady growth. He has spent more than two decades in the commercial waterproofing and restoration industry, beginning his career as a laborer and working his way through field leadership roles. That hands-on background gives Jeremy a practical leadership style and a strong respect for the work performed in the field every day. As a licensed general contractor, he helps guide the Blanchard team while supporting the brand’s reputation for dependable workmanship, client relationships, and long-term success.

As Co-General Manager and Safety Director, Craig Dorn supports Clearview Building Services, a family company of RL James Exteriors, through operations oversight, safety compliance, customer relations, and team leadership. He brings more than 35 years of experience across commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, condominium, and retail projects. His background includes high-rise window cleaning, facade washing, exterior building maintenance, caulking, safety program development, and operational improvements. Craig is known for his strong communication, commitment to jobsite safety, and ability to build reliable teams and positive client relationships.

David Dorn brings more than 35 years of experience in exterior building maintenance to his role as Co-General Manager at Clearview Building Services, a family company of RL James Exteriors. His background includes operations leadership, safety direction, large healthcare facility work, and hands-on training in rope descent systems, swing stage, and aerial lift work. Known for his practical field knowledge, David helps teams approach complex jobs safely, efficiently, and with a focus on raising industry standards through education.

Christopher Van Hoose serves as General Manager of Commercial Plastering Inc., bringing five decades of experience across plastering, lathing, scaffolding, estimating, project management, and safety. His career includes work across high-rise condominiums, restoration, high-end residential, industrial, school, and medical projects. In his current role, Christopher leads the Commercial Plastering team through estimating, project oversight, safety coordination, and regular communication with field supervisors.

As the General Manager of Paramount Painting, an RL James company, Jeff Heim helps guide client relationships, sales strategy, estimate reviews, problem-solving, and project oversight. He is focused on helping clients find the right approach for their projects while supporting the quality, reputation, and growth of the Paramount Painting team and, by extension, RL James Exteriors. Jeff brings 27 years of experience across commercial and industrial painting, waterproofing, building envelope work, coatings, sealants, concrete repair, and restoration services. His background also includes estimating, project management, business ownership, and sales leadership.
